Ocular nutrition is the method of keeping the eyes healthy. It requires avoidance of direct sunlight (UV rays can be really harmful for the eyes) and following of diet patterns beneficial to the eye. Saturated fats and Trans fats are not considered worthwhile for the body and eyes are no exception. Diets shall have a credible amount of fiber as they contain the carotenoids essential for the growth of the eye. Omega 3 fats are just as helpful for the eye. Avoiding artificial sweeteners also goes long way in providing eyes with much needed vitality.
