The link between stress and diet
We take a lot of stress. Naturally so; it is a fast moving world and it’s gripped with fierce competition. It is important to keep yourself floating and this causes a lot of stress in due course of time. Stress and diet have a cause to effect and vice-versa relation. Poor diet causes stress and stress results in seeking comforting foods most of which are poor dietary examples.
We are more generally bent towards a couple of large meals in a day. We also overindulge and take a lot of junk food in. As an aside, we make it as point to gulp sweetened beverages; regular does of caffeine and more than moderate amount of alcohol. These upset the circadian rhythm of the body and also take away our metabolic fluency. Obviously, this leads to insomnia and lessened amount of oxygen accessibility for the brain. What does it do? It makes you more vulnerable towards heightened stress.
Brain that fetches its regular dose of oxygen can combat stress more effectively. Also, lack of nutrient resources makes us prone towards fatigue. During times of fatigue our susceptibility towards stress attacks rise and we become rather mediocre in defending against such bouts. To cut the long story short, a healthy diet can help keep stress at bay.
